Roasted figs in balsamic and honey

Roasted figs in a honey balsamic glaze served with goat cheese, warm baguette slices and California Olive Ranch extra virgin olive oil. It doesn’t get much better (and easier) than that! Perfect for an easy fall appetizer

Ingredients

  • 10 figs, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp California Olive Ranch Arbequina Reserve extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of flakey sea salt
  • Fresh thyme sprigs
  • Optional to serve-
  • Toasted warm baguette or ciabatta,
  • Sliced Goat cheese or burrata

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F convection
  2. Add figs to an oven proof pan
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, honey and balsamic vinegar
  4. Mix till figs are coated
  5. Top with flakey sea salt and fresh thyme sprigs
  6. Roast in the oven until figs are softened, about 15-20 minutes
  7. Serve with goat cheese or burrata and warm fresh bread
