2 cups unbleached flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon allspice
1 1/2 cups instant polenta
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup Lucini® Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil®
2 tablespoons Gran Marnier or orange liqueur
1/2 cup pine nuts
Sift together first four ingredients. Stir in polenta. Mix together Lucini® Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil®, milk and liqueur. Add liqueur ingredients by mixing with wooden spoon. Stir in pine nuts.
Using the extra virgin olive oil, lightly oil a baking sheet. With a spoon make 1/2 inch balls of dough and place on baking sheet. Press down slightly to flatten. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until lightly golden. While still warm, dust with confectioners sugar. Serve immediately.
