4 ounces sage leaves (do not rinse)3 cups Lucini® Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil®2 cups self-rising flour1 1/2 cups sparkling water


In pot heat Lucini® Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil® to 375 degrees.In bowl mix together self-rising flour and sparkling water. Do not over beat.Dip sage leaves in batter.Cook a few leaves at a time in pre-heated extra virgin olive oil approximately 2 minutes until golden and rise to surface.Drain on platter lined with paper toweling.Serve with tomatillo sauce. Sprinkle these over your favorite recipe.
